Green Cleaning and Recycling
We are not masquerading as green we are sincerely committed to green cleaning and recycling your waste on site.
Green Cleaning is defined as cleaning to protect health while minimising the negative effects on the environment. A Cabenco Green Cleaning Program goes beyond chemical and equipment choices. It includes policies, procedures, training, shared responsibility and efforts that minimize the impact of cleaning materials on the health of building occupants and to protect the environment as a whole.
Green is not static. There is no winning post that once you cross it you're green. Rather, it's a process of continual improvement, a journey, rather than a final destination. The biggest misconception is that it is product-focused and that the replacement of traditional chemical based cleaning products with a certified green statement is the alternative.
Current products, processes and procedures aren't necessarily bad, but newer technologies and processes make it possible to clean effectively, efficiently, and with less impact on health and the environment. And to be clear, green cleaning is more than switching a few products; it's about the development of a functional environment for effective cleaning, often at reduced cost.
Recycling is defined as reprocessing a material to make a new product; the product may be the same as before recycling or a totally different product. A Cabenco Recycling program is a unique integration of Green Cleaning and Recycling that goes far beyond the choices of other cleaning and Waste Management organisations.
A Cabenco Recycling program is the onsite collection and separation of all waste into variable waste streams. It includes the collection from site and sale at the appropriate level of best price, reduced collection cost, rebate scheme for the commodities you generate, fully documented report of all waste removed and open book accounting.
The Green Cleaning and recycling program is a transition over several months. Cabenco takes a holistic view of your facility. We consider the purpose of the facility and the activities that take place in and around it. We study each aspect of "green" building operations and maintenance in the context of your goals and the benefits you expect to derive.
