Amanda has been in cleaning for over 30 years, having been involved in every aspect from hands on cleaning, admin, payroll, accounts, I.T., cold calling, business development to costing and acquisitions. She worked for Excellence PLC for over 10 years and controlled the cleaning contract at Heathrow Terminal 2 during its renovation. Amanda implemented open book accounting for Heathrow, the first company to do so. In need of a new challenge, Amanda joined Ramoneur, the oldest established UK cleaning company where she controlled their key contract, Goldman Sachs, during their renovation of the Daily Express and Daily Telegraph buildings in Fleet Street. Amanda was the first contractor to win their Golden Services award. After a career break to raise her children, Amanda returned to the industry and started her own company, Cabenco, with a passion to provide clients with a bespoke, tailored system for cleaning.
Amanda’s role is to design, develop and implement Cabenco’s strategic plan in the most cost effective and time efficient manner. She undertakes the day-to-day running of the company and develops business plans for the long-term future of the organisation. Amanda motivates and mentors members of the management team and manages staff, clients, budgets, company assets and all other company resources to make the best use of them and increase company profitability.
Amanda never rests, juggling a busy work life with looking after her family. She enjoys meals out with friends and still manages to play hockey to a high standard.
